Pomarosa: very aromatic fruit

One of the top experiences while travelling around Colombia are the colorful and refreshing fruits. It is easy to find them at the local markets and sometimes just directly from a tree in a backyard or a farm. In the streets we can buy juices and fruits, the most common are orange and carrot juice. We also eat green mango with salt and lemon, may sound weird but give it a try!

About Me

I am Elena Oliveros, a Colombian woman, outdoor enthusiast, mountain climber and cuisine lover. My degree is in foreign languages teaching but travelling around the world and discovering different cultures have been in the core of my life. I have visited more than twenty countries. However, I still love to travel in Colombia. At this moment I work as a travelling translator, tour leader and trip advisor in my home country. I plan to keep moving around the world climbing rocks, mountains and enjoying the diverse humanity with their ways of living and plural flavours.
